First hand experience of the Caribbean dream

Andrew Robson worked for many years as a UK agent for Caribbean Developers both at Hamptons International, then independently until, in 2008, he introduced a buyer to Jumby Bay, a 300 acre private island just off the coast of Antigua. Andrew represented the buyer throughout the transaction during which he became acquainted with a number of Homeowners and Board members at Jumby Bay and, shortly after the sale completed, was invited to move out to the island permanently to handle the property sales.

Andrew and his wife Jo moved to Jumby Bay from London in September 2009. This was a huge opportunity and a tremendous privilege and Andrew became a prominent figure in the regional prime property market dealing with agents, developers and other key individuals on a daily basis.

Twelve years and many sales later, UK schooling beckoned for their young children and, in August 2021, the Robsons made the move back to the UK.  

In this post Covid world a Caribbean base or bolthole has become ever more attractive and Andrew, now very much a frequent flyer, is ideally placed to help.
